EQUIPMENT NEEDED

  • baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprout
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • avocado oil or olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F. Wash, trim, and cut the Brussels sprouts into quarters.
  • Spread them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzle with avocado oil and hot honey, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated, then spread back into a single layer.
  • Roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on the edges.
  • Optional: broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra-crispy edges.

Notes

Spread the sprouts in a single layer and flip halfway through so they roast evenly instead of steaming. For extra crispiness, finish under the broiler for the last minute or two.
