Notes
SubstitutionsBison- You can use ground beef.Coconut aminos- Gluten free or regular soy sauce will work.Thai basil- Thai basil can be hard to find sometimes in your local grocery store so you can use regular basil.Rice vinegar- White vinegar or apple cider vinegar will work.Chili garlic sauce- I use Huy Fong's chili garlic sauce which can be found in most grocery stores in the Asian food aisle. If you can't find it then any chili paste will work.Rice- Brown rice, white rice, or jasmine rice all work great in this recipe.TipsUsing frozen rice makes this recipe come together quickly. You can find any type of frozen rice at your local grocery store. You just microwave it for a few minutes and it's ready to go!Storing and reheatingYou can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.I usually reheat my leftovers in the microwave for 1.5 minutes but you can reheat it on the stove on medium heat for around 5 minutes.
