Notes

Substitutions
Bison- If you don't have ground bison you can use ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken.
Cheese- I like using the shredded Mexican blend cheese but you can use pepper jack, cheddar, or whatever is your favorite.
Chips- Any tortilla chip will work in this recipe. I like to use Siete sea salt or lime chips.
Taco seasoning- Any packet of taco seasoning will work. My favorite is Siete brand mild taco seasoning.
Sour cream- You can omit this or use plain Greek yogurt.
Guacamole- If you can't find premade guacamole you can use avocado slices.
Pico- If you can't find pre made pico de Gallo you can make your own by dicing tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapenos and mixing them together.
Tip
I would double the recipe if you want to make this for a large gathering.
Storing and reheating
If you have any leftover nachos you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
The best way to reheat these nachos is in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until warm and the chips are crispy.
