EQUIPMENT NEEDED

  • baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussel sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • avocado oil or olive oil

Instructions

  • Pre heat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash, trim, and cut the brussel sprouts into quarters.
  • Spread them on a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle with avocado oil and hot honey, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Toss the brussel sprouts right on the baking sheet until they’re evenly coated in the honey and seasonings, then bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.

Notes

Tips
  •
  • Spread the brussel sprouts out in a single layer so they roast instead of steam. Crowding the pan will keep them from getting crispy.
  • Roasting at 450°F helps the honey caramelize and gives you those golden, crispy edges.
  • If you love extra crisp, pop them under the broiler for the last few minutes of cooking.
  • For even more flavor, you can drizzle a little extra hot honey over the brussel sprouts right after they come out of the oven.
