These gluten free chicken wings are cooked in the air fryer so they are super crispy and then smothered in a tangy buffalo sauce. Since they are cooked in the air fryer they are easy to make, are juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside.
¾cupbuffalo sauce*I use Primal Kitchen's buffalo sauce
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoondried dill
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
½teaspoonbaking soda
avocado oil
Instructions
Dry the chicken wings, put them in a large mixing bowl, and mix with a drizzle of avocado oil or olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, and baking soda.
Spray the basket of your air fryer with cooking spray and place the chicken wings in a single layer. Cook at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook for another 12 minutes. You can cook for a little longer if you like your wings extra crispy.
After the chicken is done cooking remove the wings from the basket and place in a large mixing bowl. Add the buffalo sauce to the wings and toss till they are fully coated.
Notes
SubstitutionsChicken wings- I like to use party wings but you can use whatever kind of chicken wings you like.Buffalo sauce- Use whatever kind of buffalo sauce is your favorite. I love using Primal Kitchen's buffalo sauce.Tips
To help get the wings crispy don't overcrowd them. You may need to do this in batches depending on how big your air fryer is.
Adding a little bit of baking soda to your wings before cooking them helps give them even more of that perfect crisp.
Storing and reheatingStore any leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.I like to reheat my wings in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
